How do I read my non-smart meter?

Traditional (or non-smart) meters comes in all shapes and sizes. But the basic rules for reading them are the same, whether they’re a gas or electric meter: always read the numbers from left to right, and ignore the numbers in red or any numbers after a decimal point.

If you have a traditional (non-smart meter) you have to give meter readings manually to allow us to bill you accurately. Otherwise, we have to estimate your energy usage.
